Zilker Park’s Trail of Lights

The Trail of Lights is part of the essential Austin experience, lighting up the season with a celebration of community, memories, and fun. General admission is free from Dec. 10 through Dec. 16. Ticket proceeds go towards the Austin Trail of Lights foundation, which is dedicating to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the tradition. The event also includes food and drink vendors and a Ferris Wheel and carousel.

Hit the roof for a unique holiday skating event! Skating on the Plaza takes place on the roof of the Whole Foods Market on South Lamar. Lots of fun for the whole family! Admission is $10 per person and includes skate rental.

Ring in the new year at a fun, family-friendly celebration complete with local musicians, art installations, food trucks and kids’ activities. The event, hosted by the City of Austin, kicks off at 3 p.m. and includes a fireworks display starting at 10 p.m.
